Default Oil Problem Please Help

I have a 1990 Accord Ex 157k miles. when u get on it. all u see is white smoke comin outta the exhaust. people have told me its my pistons and rings. any have any input on this? and is it worth fixing or just swapping the motor. thanks for the input.

White smoke isn't oil it's coolant. Oil usually burns more bluish. Check your oil levels and coolant levels to see which one your really burning. If it's oil do a compression test and leak down test. If compression is off +/-20 PSI on one cylinder then your rings are bad. If not your problem could be in the head.
