compression test... cyl. 4 bad... HELP
Hey guys... compression test as follows: (from tranny side to alternator side)
210-240-240-240
Any suggestions on what to do next? I did the "put oil in the cyl. then retest" and it went up to 240... I put like 1/2 a capful of oil in it... but maybe it was too much because it missed for like 2 mins of driving under acceleration afterwards... I guess it was cleaning out all the oil... u could see the smoke.
Anyhow... What to do next? leakdown test? I hope it's not rings on my new shiny JE pistons. :-/
Thanks,
Ratliff

Yea... figures... Good thing I found a GSR block for $280.00 an hour away. ;-)
Use my crank rods and pistons and new rings and I'll get the GSR block girdle in return... YAYYYY ;-)
