Default Oil pressure switch help!

I just swapped my motor in a few days go. I have a 96 CX hatch. I put in a 96 spec ITR swap which doesnt come with an output for a Vtec oil pressure switch. I installed it with a 98 EX harness. I've read thru a lot of archived threads but yet it doesnt solve my problem. Most threads that are archived are using OBD1 ecu's which im sticking with OB2A. I tried t-tapping the blue/black wire to the vtec silonoid wire (light green/yellow). I grounded the black wire to the part of thermostat. That didnt work so i tapped the blue/black wire directly to the vtec silonoid wire and it didnt work either. Im not sure what other solutions are there. I dont want to use another ECU quite yet (like OBD1). Please someone help me resolve this...been trying to figure it out for a couple days now.

By the way...its pulling a code 7 which is the TPS. Im not sure if that would be the case of it working or not. Just confused...i never ran into that problem on my other ITR swap. Someone please help me if they know about this kinda stuff.
