Default oil pressure switch

Hello All,

I am having trouble with my v-tec its not working. I noticed a wire that is loose or came off of the oil pressure switch. Its the blue wire. The black one I believe is ground and its connected to the oil pressure switch. How do I reconnect the blue wire and do I have to take off the switch first or what???? CEL code is 22. This is on 1.6 D series V-tec. Please Advise.

well that was an interesting way to post a pic lol

umm lets see. if the wire came out of the back of the connector then i would certainly atleast try to reattach it. if you don't see any feasible way of doing that then you may need to get another connector with some wire and splice it into your harness. i believe that 2 pin connector is just like any other 2 pin connector on the harness so it shouldn't be too hard finding a replacement on eBay or at a junkyard.

Havent been on site for awhile, not sure how to post the pics. How would I unbold this? would I need a wrench or does the the connect twist off or snapped on? Anybody know?

its clicked into place like virtually every other connector under the hood lol. just play with it for a minute you'll figure out how to disconnect it
