Default Oil pressure?

I just put an electrical oil pressure guage in my car.At idle it is 75psi at any amount of throttle it stays on 100 psi.Is this normal? Seems kinda of high to me.my motor is a B18c5.

I think something might be wrong with your sender. BTW wait for your car to warm up fully then check your readings, as your oil warms up your pressure will come down.

I think you should let them know what type of oil you put in there... yes guys 20/50......... You should pour that at out. and put some 5-30 in there and it should run fine.... Depending on how high or low on oil you are and how hard you are on the gas is what determines your pressure.. but from experience cruising at 2500 rpms i am at a little bit before 75...
