Default OIL pressure too high?

i had a oil light yesterday so i installed a 2000- gsr oil pump on my 2000-b16 and the oil pressure gauve hoovers around 20psi at idle , when i drive at high rpm around 7grand its at 75-80psi. i know this is not normal or good for my oil seals in the turbo. is there anyway i could lower my oil pressure or would this problem just be a faulty gauge???? i have a sun pro 0-100psi oil gauge.

that oil pressure seems pretty normal, perhaps a little low idle pressure, but i dont know the specs!

i thought 15 psi at idle was normal and 65-70 psi at high rpm but if my readings are normal then im good.

Same pressure on idle and throttle as mine...and im running a stock GSR motor.

But then again my oil level is a bit above the high mark...so check your oil levels too. That may contribute to a 20ish psi at idle (assuming 15 psi is normal).

When Vtec comes on it should hit about 75 to 80 psi.
