Default oil leak from back of the block, what could it be??

ok we'll i finally got my motor together and fired it up for the first time yesterday, and now i have oil pouring out from the intake side of the block. The motor is a 00 b16 head, and a obd 1 gsr block. The car also has a jrsc on it so i can't really see where the leak is coming from. I traced it as far as the water pipe, but can't see beyond that. It is not the oil filter, or oil cooler, and i'm pretty sure its not the head gasket because the car runs very smooth and the oil is pouring out (i lost about 3 quarts in less than a minute) I don't have the schematic of the gsr block, and i can't seem to find where it would be coming from by looking at my old b16 block. Any suggestions?

If the head gasket is installed correctly, you should be able to see the silver tab on the front left side where the head meets the block. If the head gasket is on backwards, oil will shoot out where the oil control orifice is on the block(between cylinder 2&3). If this is the case, you probably have 'UP' side of the head gasket up, but its on the exhaust side(Cylinder#3), and it should be on the intake side(Cylinder #2).
