Default oil leak

i have a 97 gsr that i just got fullt built head/block. and im have a lil trouble with an oil leak in the front of the motor under the vtec solinoid were the head mates to the block. i have arp head studs which i have tourqued to 75 ft. all surfaces were clean. if any one can give me so input that would be great

Check the inside of your distributor for oil, the internal seal may be leaking, or the O-ring that seals the distributor to the head could also be bad, it makes it look like it is leaking from the head and the block, and this is how "the river of crap" is formed on the bell housings of most Honda's.

Don't do a hack job, just get a new seal, its like 2 bucks.

well i looked at it yesterday and that hg is leaking but thats not my main leak. i thikkn that i didnt push one of the axels in all the way and its flinging oil all over the place. cuz i let the car sit and idle and the only leakes that i see are drom the hg and there not bad. but whwn i drive it oil every where. sould i replace the two seals that seal the axels in the tranny ?

alright guys i just put a brand new oem head gasket on and tourqued the arp head studs to 70 ftlb. and im still leaking for both front corners of the motor any input would be great. im pulling my hair out trying to find out wats wrong. and both the head and both are true no warpage

I like I said before, its your distributor seals and/or valve cover gasket. Happens to many Honda's out there.

i checked all that the cam seal, dizzy o ring and vtec soliniod its dry as a vone up there. it the head gasket cuz its leaking over but the power steering pump to
