That canversion is going to be treaky. You are going to have to mount sensors on the block and change your O2 sensor.

Well, I've got a 1st gen B16. I want to run Hondata after I boost so I am considering conversion to ODBI. I know Hondata can do ODB0 PR3, but that ECU needs two O2s and I'd have to run open loop all the time... that's not going to work well for me because I actually want to drive the car on the street.

Asides from the harness and a new distributor, I am curious what addition wiring might need to be done.

Thanks,
-S

We have a kit that includes a new OBDI distributor, the forward date harness, and a 4-wire O2. You will have to do a little bit of wiring, but it is well worth it.

We are one of the largest Hondata dealers in the country.

Give Matt or Myself a call and we can get you the components and technical assistance to make the conversion and smooth as possible.

Thanks,

Tom

How do you guys handle the ELD? Do you also need to get a new alternator that the ECU controls, or does that even give a CEL code if it is not connected?

I did the conversion already, but for the AEM EMS, so the ELD issue was nil.

PM to Blown90Hatch. Usually the EF forum is a good forum to post this question, but do a search on HT and you will find lots of info
