Default From obd2 - obd1

Did a search and really couldn't come up with an answer. Should any gains be expected when switching from obd2-obd1 or is it just the simplicity of having less sensors monitered?

You'll get a little out of it but the real benefit is as simple as being able to run Hondata, etc (that's the most common reason for us running an OBD1-OBD2a/b jumper)... It's not that big of a deal and at most you may get a couple whp more with a chipped OBD1 ECU... You're absolutely right about it tho, the reason you have a chance for a bit more power is there are a lot less parameters measured... Peace
