Do you have a Helms manual?

Anyone who works on a Honda, should have one. It's the factory service manual found at the dealership.

You don't want to use an OBD2 Civic engine harness in a 5th gen chassis, that much is for sure.

my car has no wire harness.......so i need the obd2 civic one piece engine harness from the egine to the ECU.....much easier than using a obd1 engine harness which is two piece and it runs from the head light, fan ect,ect and egine to the ecu......but i dont kno if it will get power to the ECU because im also not running a FUSE box.....it's a straight up race chasis that needs to be rewire all over again from scratch......u get it?

If you have a Helms, you'll have the wiring diagram. You'll then be able to provide power to the ECU because you'll know what wires are used to do it. But the harness that runs from the engine into the cabin isn't all there is to making the engine wiring complete. So you're gonna need the Helms at some point.
