Harness question..........
we have a 92 hatch with a gsr in it running hondata...so this means its obd1 correct? could that setup be running an obd2 harness, or does it need to be an obd1 harness?

Re: Harness question.......... (Fullthrottle297)
so you could run the engine harness from an obd2 on the car, and also use the obd2 to obd1 jumper harness at the ecu to make it work?

The way you wrote the question was confusing. It sounded like you were trying to put the OBD1 hondata unit in a different OBD2 car, because you didn't add the word "engine" before the word "harness" (in your original post).
Regardless of what engine harness you use, the ECU plugs will still be OBD1, unless you take out the entire harness and put in one from an OBD2 Civic. So you won't need a conversion harness at all to run the hondata unit. And you can use an OBD1 or OBD2 Integra engine harness, both will plug right in to each other.

Re: (CivicSpoon)
alrighty, so if the motor is in the 92 civic, technically it could have a obd2 harness on it and it still would be fine to run?
