OBD1 engine in a OBD2 Car HOW?
Ive searched and gotten 1 result but it didnt have anything to do with the information i need. the thing is. i got an h22 but the wiring from the engine doesnt match up with the clips from the wiring thats coming from the car. can someone link me to a thread or tell me what i need to do to get prepared. thanks
Edit The engine is a 92-95 OBD1 Engine. and the car its going to is a 2000 Integra. I read about that obd2 to obd1 harness, all that does is connects the wires from the car to the ecu. I'm talking about the actualy engine harness to the clips coming from the ecu. thanks

There are a couple of places that make OBD conversion harness' that can make it alot easier. I just picked up a Skunk 2 harness to reduce the head ache of it all. Only problem with it (not a problem for me) is the skunk 2 harness didnt have the EGR wired up if you need it.

Nobody that I know of makes a harness to run an obd1 engine harness in an obd2 car.
Regardless of what car your trying to put it into, you need to reuse your stock harness, cut off the necessary obd1 plugs and put them on your obd2 harness.
If its going into a civic, the plugs still wouldnt match up, even if the car was the same obd as the engine.

I just offered some of this specific swap information to another chap right here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1481886
But in your case, reading that you'd want to convert to OBD1, I believe you could actually use an OBD1 integra engine wire harness in your car if you'd like since all 92-01 integra's use a 2 piece engine wire harness; if you go this route, you'll have to perform the Immobilizer fix to your ecu plug or else you won't have fuel pump activation. This information is explained in my OBD2b wiring diagram here:
http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/w...1.jpg
OR
You could reuse your existing '00 engine wire harness and modify it to work with the OBD1 engine or update the OBD1 engine's components to OBD2 integra parts ie. distributor, alternator, and injectors. If you still have your existing integra engine, you can reuse your existing alternator & injectors on the OBD1 engine.
What specific model integra do you own? I'm gonna guess it has a B18B engine.
