Default OBD 1 diagnostic

where can I get a diagnostic computer, or whatever it's called that you plug in and can see what codes you have if you have a CEL? all I've seen are the ones for OBD2, which does me no good

dude i don't think they even make one for ODB1. the only way i know how to check for codes is by using that little green plug on the right side of glove compartment(bottom right meaning underneath). just stick a wire connecting both those little holes together and presto...the ecu checks everything for you.
