O2 sensor
Car? Engine? Details?
I had my o2's disconnected on my B16a for about 2 weeks. ECU throws codes and runs in limp mode b/c it doesn't know what is going on. Unless you're having MAJOR problems, I would suggest they stay on. I really see no advantages of them being off...

Yes you can actually lose power because the computer has to default to factory settings for that sensor. What you can do for a little extra power (maybe even 5-10hp) is move your IAT ( intake 02 sensor) to somewhere in the front air dam where it catches the passing air, instead of being in the engien bay. I will give you a bit more fuel if you have a cold air intake on, which gives you more air, so there you can gain a bit of power.
The Intake Air Temp sensor Is the sensor located up on the intake, not even 6 inches away from the TB. It is black and has like a red and green wire coming out of it. I never heard of moving it though
I haven't been able to find it at all. I already have the CAI on, and didn't notice it when I put it on. Does anyone have any pics of it and any suggestions?

The AIT measures the temp of the air going to the engine. If you move it to outside the car, it will be putting in the wrong amounts of fuel for the temp of the air your engine is seeing. The ECU caculates how much fuel from the MAP sensor and AIT (air density is a static number per degree), if you make the ECU think it has more dense air, it will toss in more fuel, which on a stock car, will reduce power. RICH = Less power. Please, don't answer any more questions if you aren't sure about it.

Thanks for the info. Question though...Since the B16a is very temperature tempermental, and since I do have my CAI down in my bumper pulling in colder air...Wouldn't it be beneficial if the AIT was giving cooler signals. If it is still up top and is giving warmer codes (like what a stock intake box would actually be sending), isn't that hurting me since I am getting the colder air?
