NPT fitting in rear of block?
I know the stock oil sensor is a BSPT fitting, and that is what Ive been using for my oil pressure gauge, but the hole on the fitting is TINY...like 1/16"!
Im going VTEC and I want to use a 1/8" NPT fitting...should I just screw it in even though it doesnt fit as well? (real tight fittings and doesnt thread all the way) or should I retap the hole for NPT?
What do you guys do?

I'd leave the oil pessure port alone and just run a line from the oil pump using z10's kit or just run a line from the back of the block. Here's a link to my buddy Del's site: http://www.geocities.com/thelsvtec/sshowto.html, he used the back of the block method. HTH
Hmm, well I have the 1/8" BSPT to 1/8" NPT fitting already, but like I saoid the hole in the BSPT fitting part is like 1/16"! Its TINY! Would it be alright to drill it out bigger?
have you seen the whole inyour oil pressure sender???
It's tiny too.
I'm hooking mine up this week.
I'll let you know

Yes I know the hole is small also..but not nearly as small as the one in my fitting. Its definately not the same size as a true 1/8" NPT fitting.
1/8" NPT is close to a -4an line...
The hole in my BSPT fitting is more like a -2an
