My SRS light came on one day after I took my gauge cluster out to replace the backlight bulbs and when I was testing it out, I didn't plug the SRS plug back in before turning on the ignition and now I've had this SRS light that won't go away. I've tried resetting it, but it never flashes at all with the service connector (paper clip) plugged into the memory plug and it doesn't flash any codes when I jump the service connector. Can anyone help? I've had no horn or cruise for a while and am getting tired of it.

There is a current U Tube video about the SRS light, cruise control and horn problems that traces the cause to breaks in the conductors in the ribbon cable ( "**** spring") in the steering wheel assembly.
