Default Leaking Injector when Cold

Hey, I've got a 97 hatch with a b16a. Recently I started to notice a smell of gas when I start the car, I looked under the hood and injector 1 is leaking (it looks like it is where the injector goes into the fuel rail). But then once the car warms up after 5-10 minutes the smell goes away and it stops leaking. Could this just be a worn Injector O-ring?

Is it possible to get to just the one injector without removing all of them from the fuel rail? Just to prevent leaks from the other injectors.

Yes, unplug injectors remove fuel rail remove bad injector, however for the price of the Orings, you should do all of them if one is bad others will soon fallow, 94

Thanks for the tips. Do I have to relieve the pressure of the fuel system at the filter? Can I leave the regulator and other lines on when I lift the fuel rail?

Just lift the rail. Its likely pressure will have bled down anyhow.

And replace both sets of seals for all the injectors. They are cheap.

I think I found my problem, the threads are stripped on one of the 3 nuts holding the fuel fuel rail to the manifold. It is right beside the leaking injector and it's not on tight. What's the best way the remove and replace that stripped nut and probably stud?

Sometimes simply swapping the nut with another might work. Then you just use the bad nut on the other good stud and that will also work. Worst case scenario you gotta head down to the junkyard.
