No VTEC on my ls/vtec HELP!!!!!
I just finished installing a b16 head on my stock ls block in my 96 integra rs. I'm using a stock obd2a gsr ecu and the car won't go into vtec. I've checked everything I can think of: the wiring
the vtec solenoid
vtec preesure switch
oil pressure
I don't know what this could be. When I give the vtec solenoid power straight from the battery it goes into vtec but it won't work from the ecu on its own. What the hell is going on here? I'm getting code for but i can't remeber which one, i'll go pull and post it up.

Mine didnt work at first when I finished my LS/Vtec conversion, it turned out to be my ECU--- whered you get the ecu? You should convert to OBD1 and chip it anyway, it will run a lot better.
I tried the obd1 conversion harness with hondata s100 and that kept throwing a vtec pressure swith code so we figured we would try a stock ecu and get everything working then tune it but its not working out. We know the switch is good but it just keeps throwing that code.WTF!! This was supposed to be a simple head swap now its turning out to the swap from hell!
