I searched on this some. Didn't find anything really relating to what I'm having problems with. I'm throwing a Code 91 and Code 65. The 91 was supposed to be fixed with a resister but it's throwing the code again. Anyways I can't get vtec to work at all. Could their be a clogged oil pressure line? Bad solenoid? But if it's a bad solenoid wouldn't it throw a code for that? My oil level is fine. Car idles and warms up good. It kinda sucks winding it out to 5400 and no vtec. I would appreciate any help.

 

check you oil psi at the 10mm bolt on the head in front...check psi at idle..then check it while suppling 12v to your vtec solenoid....if it activates vtec..your problem is upstream your ecu /wiring etc..

 

did you just built you head or somethin?

 

The head had new valves put in but the vtec worked fine for a good like 6 months and just now it's stopped.

 

There's no check engine light at all?

 

Check engine light is on.. Code 91 and 65 are being thrown in my EK. With B16A3 motor.
