Problem parytially fixed, cap,rotor, and plugs were crappy. caused motor to flood

Hi , I am new here & have a ? so far the posts I have read are very helpful.
OK 1st? I have a 95 civic ex 1.6l VTEC. parked it last night and this morn just cranks exhust pipe smells like fuel, checked it has spark, and appears to have compression. I think it might be a tps or map sensor prob.
PLEASE HELP this is my daily driver and is all stock no mods.

If the exhaust smells strong like fuel I would suspect ignition problem. Igniter? Does it have GOOD spark?

 

Yes it has strong spark . also I tried to pull codes and got 41 but I dont understand why o2 sensor would cause no start.

 

first off im pretty sure that motor doesnt have a map sensor. ur problem really sounds like a no spark situation but if u say it has spark??? have u checked if anything is clogged like the intake manifold?? the cat could be clogged and it would still smell like gas...look around the motor for disconnected plugs or vaccum hoses because that is actually a very strong possibility, that one prolly got disconnected...hope u get it running again

 

Problem I think Is fixed . Car now runs ,but I need to replace cap, rotor, plugs and drain oil (reaks of gas) THANKS FOR THE INPUT !!

 

If for some reason the o2 is causing the ECU to send way too much fuel and flood it, that's a possibility. Conversely, if too much fuel is fouling the o2 sensor, it could throw a code. I would run a compression test first to verify compression. Try it w/ throttle at WOT?
