Default NO Spark, New coil and ignitor....

I was hitting about 5lbs in 5th @ about 2500rpm and suddenly the car just stops accelerating. I let off and then floor it again, POP!!! It backfires, this happend like 3 times so I stopped. I just bought a new ignitor about 3 months ago and I bought a new coil today and it still wont start. I know its getting fuel. When I had a friend turn it over I held the #1 plug wire next to a valvecover nut and I couldnt get any spark to arc when she turned it over... Im lost on what to look for next. I thought maybe wiring, but Ive sodered all my conncections. I did however find that the screw that holds the rotor on had worked itself out, so I screwed it back in... but Im lost where to look next....

thanks

Blaze

Check your main relay. It may be powering the fuel pump but not the ECU

I don't know what your setup is, but I fixed my problem today by removing my MSD and putting the stock ignition system back on. Then I also found a problem when I re-wired my VAFCII to my ECU, my RPM signal wire wasn't making good contact. I got that set in good and I'm running like a champ.
