Default nitrous and compression

I am planning on building my motor to 11:1 comp and was wondering with all forged pistons and rods if the motor would be able to withstand a hundred shot direct port wet system

with a 100 shot, the engine would survive no problem.

hahaha, wouldn't do it that compression... For boost I really don't like low compression... As long is the motor is sleeved with forged pistons and rods I will always build them around 10.0-10.5:1... 11.0:1 isn't really that bad but we just have to know your mods.... I would choose one route or the other... Boost or nitrous?? Boost is always more fun but nitrous is the cheaper route... I would only think of this combination if you have the bottom end built the way I stated above... It's just not going to hold... My friend's B18C is just getting broken in right now... It's been sleeved and o-ringed by GE up to 84.5mm with JE 9.0:1 slugs, and Crower rods... The reason he chose low compression is because he plans to boost somewhere in the neighborhood of 20-25lbs and squeeze 100 ontop of that... My other friend had an identical motor in his daily driven EK aswell... It was not o-ringed but on 22lbs he made 506whp without nitrous... I'm hoping for somewhere in the 600-650whp range with this new motor... Should be pretty fun.. As for your setup with that compression as long as your bottom end is built why not just squeeze a straight 150 on it... It will hold up fine.. You could boost on it at the same time but just make sure you have it all TUNED correctly.... TUNING will be everything with your motor if you chose to take that route... I would try something more like 5lbs and 100 shot... Peace

hey thanks man but this is one thing i have not heard of, o ringed? I was planning on the sleeves and je forged with forged eagle rods but was not sure about the rings or bearings. what is the better route the rings that come with the pistons or something else? what do you think? I was also thinking of going with the golden eagle sleeves. thanks again

If you go with the JE pistons just use the rings that come with them... They work awesome... As for bearings I always use OE and nothing else... Golden Eagle can o-ring your block but they normally charge ~$200 more... It is not totally necessary to do so but if you are planning on a lot of boost or a lot of cylinder pressure I would consider it... Good Luck and let me know if you need anything else.... Peace
