New guy needs help
I just bought a 93 civic ex and I am wanting to fix it up a little bit. I will be a daily driver and cash is tight. The engine block has D16Z6 stamped on it but no vtec on the valve cover. The Haynes repair manual said the vtec equipped engines will have "VTEC" stamped on the valve cover, mine does not. Did they make a 1.6L non vtec? Please help! I would like to know what I have to start with so I can figure out where to go with it.
