Default new clutch need help....

well i jsut installed my new exedy organic clutch in a 99 civicsi and i pull out of the driveway then shift into first and "i hear a loud clang" the car will not go in to gear ,, car sits in neutral i cannot switch into gears does not even try to grab and does not stall our when i let off the clutch ,, i need help

after the first clank, you can move the shifter to where all the gears normally would be but (no grind), but it is like they aren't there, is that what your saying

yeah i can put the shifter into any gear but it feels like nothing is there

sup....i jus installed new exedy clutch in my 92 integra and it runs dope. Even have the exedy flywheel too. U remember doin anythin weird or wrong??? Did u install a new throwout bearing??? Cuz when i ordered my exedy clutch set from summit they didn't provide a throwout bearing. So i jus used my stock..but they prefer new one. Did u torque it in the correct sequence? cuz that could warp it if u didn't. Maybe u didn't put the clutch disk on the rite side so its not grabbin anything...cuz the clutch disk looks identical both sides...but one side the springs are sticking out jus a tad and thats the side that faces the clutch.....hope this helps..peace

yes i recieved a new throwout bearing,, it was installed the disk is facing the correct way i torqued all the bolts to the specs in the helms manual
