Default Need some help with d16y7 swap!

Well to start off here I'm hoping someone has done or knows how to fix this problem I'm having. I bought a eg coupe with a bad title for a good price to take the motor and throw it in my eg hatch till my sfwd build is complete. The coupe ran good when I drove it minus a surging idle when cold. Once warm it went away. They did use and obd1 engine harness on the motor. But I noticed they directly wired the map sensor into the ecu cause the map on the engine harness was zip tied below the intake manifold. So I had a friend that did my chassis tuck on my hatch do the same thing for my car to match the coupe. There was no cel in the coupe when I drove it and I know it works because it came on when u were in acc. Now that the motor is in my hatch with the same ecu out of the coupe its throwing a map sensor code(3). I've tried the engine harness map plug and the one my friend wired in with no difference. Still have the cel throwing code 3. As for the motor it doesn't have the original im on it or throttle body. On this intake the iacv is on the manifold. Originally the iacv is on the throttle body. I'm def getting a surging idle. Starts up idles high like 1800rpm for say 20 sec then throws the code (3) and starts surging from 1k to 2k. Warm or cold still surges. Upon further looking they are running an po6 ecu which is the stock ecu for a 92 civic cx. Should be a p2e for a y7. What's throwing me off here is it really did run good before I switched it over. So why it's running like **** now is what I'm wondering. To my knowledge there is no such thing as a odb1 to an obd2 ecu jumper harness. So this is where I'm lost... Not sure what to do. If I can get rid of the cel id be good. I'm going to change the map sensor from my friends car that isnt throwing any codes and see if that fixes it tomorrow. Just don't see how my map sensor is all the sudden bad when it was working fine before. Surging idle isn't to big of a deal because I'm just using this to get around in the mean time and not daily my big *** f250. Save gas money which means more race parts to finish my build so thanks in advance for any suggestions!
