Gsr in a eg coupe. Starts and idles but won't rev up.
I have tried multiple of things. I put a new engine harness. A new p28 ecu. My distributor was new when I did the rebuild. I made sure all of the wire plugs were in the correct spots. I did the timing 3 times to make sure it was correct. I need help!! I don't know what to do any more. It seems like I tried everything. It's a obd1 eg coupe with a gsr swap. I have a d15 harness and planned on running the vtec solenoid and pressure switch to the ecu once I got it running correctly. I have a check engine light and already did the pin test. It's throwing 7,8,10,16,19,22 and 41. I ran it before with out the oxygen sensor. It seems like it back fires when I floor it and Boggs down and tries to die.... Please help me out!!!

You are throwing nearly every major code in the book, and you wonder why it's not revving??
Code 8 is enough to put it into limp mode, preventing rpm's over 3000. My guess is you have some major wiring issues. Did you cut *any* of the harness wires? Have you triple-checked your 3 major grounds (battery, transmission, thermostat)??
BTW that "new" distributor could be junk if you never tested it - new doesn't mean usable. A large amount of cheap china-produced distributors are just expensive headaches.

I'm using a d15 harness and wiring vtec myself. I have it running. Just has a minor revving issue. I keep timing it. Which I'm pretty sure the crank with the pulley on you time it by the 3 line mark with the one in the middle. I collaborated the tps and it still does the same thing.
