need info for obd2 to obd1 conversion
going to be doing an obd2 to obd1 conversion on a 99-00 si but need to doublecheck the parts that i will need. so far, this is what i know for sure that i will need:
obd2 to obd1 harness
obd1 vtec b series ecu
92-95 civic ex/si engine harness
obd1 distributor
obd1 alternator
i am unsure as to if i will also need an obd1 starter? if i've forgotten any other parts, please let me know. thanks.

ok your off on some stuff.
All you really need is the OBD2b->1 jumper harness and OBD1 ecu. That's it. Everything else you can leave OBD2 on the engine; that includes all of the electronics, fuel injectors, engine harness etc, the OBD1 ecu is compatible with OBD2 electronic/ignition parts. An OBD1 engine harness is not compatible with any EK civic/civic coupe, you have to use an EK engine harness in an EK.
If you need the jumper harness & a reprogrammed P28 ecu, hit me up I sell both of those items.

ok, i think i left some info out. we are swapping out the obd2 block for an obd1 block, still a b16a. keeping the obd2 head. will i still only need the ecu jumper and ecu?

yes, thats the main ingredient, the jumper & an OBD1 ecu. Make sure you stick with an OBD2 engine harness and ignition though.
