Need help removing axles

Need help removing axles
got the hub nut off, removed the lower strut nut, and the castle nut on the LCA, tried to use a puller, but the friggin ball joint won't separate 
is there an easier way of doing this?

Just loosen the castle nut and leave it on the lower ball joint, now take a big *** hammer and whack the LCA where the ball joint sits, try to avoid hitting the castle nut

cool, I'll give that a shot...what should I expect...for the LCA to just pop down onto the castle nut...then just remove it, and pull the hub away? correct?
