im tryin to remove my H22 from my 4th gen lude, and im having trouble disconnecting the axles.. i got a manual, but the way they say to disconnect them requires a special tool for the lower ball joint.. i seen ppl remove motors b4 and never did they use this "special tool." Need help on other techniques on how to disconnect the axles without using this special tool....

trust me it will work alot better with a ball joint remover. spent 6 hours last wenesday trying to pop one from my EF. Best 30$ i ever spent. took me like 10 min with the ball joint remover

however u can always try the double hammer method where u hit
the side of the arm right were the ball joint is housed on both sides with hammers

bang bang bang, aint nothing moving.. sun done went down so i gotta get back at it 2morrow, but i know it has to b another way to remove these axles without disconnecting the lower ball joint.. any suggestions?????

 

how can i seperate the lower ball joint from the lower control arm without a ball joint seperator???
