ok here it goes i have a N/A motor LS/VTEC i have couple of mods in it .. but for some reason im still getting a engine light .. i check it out and it was a knock sensor .. now my question is why ????? bad motor or what ?

 

did you install the Knock sensor. you can disable the knock sensor in the pref. and then Misc. and disable the knock sensor. if you didn't install the knock sensor disable it.
and buy throwing the code doesnt mean you have a bad motor

 

ok im going to try to disable the knock sensor , but can that be bad for the motor ? cause i read about it and besically its a detonation and thats bad ryt ?

Since this is a non-vtec block, where did you mount your knock sensor?

 

well i dont know .. i guess the mechanic didnt put it on ... that could be my problem .. B18A ... would that be a problem for me in a long run ?? thanks for help spunkster and everybody out here ..
