Here's my problem, it's a 97 civic hx with a jdm obdII b16 being installed and the motor didn't come with the purge valve or any where to put one and I can't seem to locate a valve on the old motor. What would happen if I were to not plug it up and do away with the evap system? I'm also using a usdm 98 gsr ecu.

well, from what I know, you'll just build up pressure in the fuel tank and release it into the air every time you open your gas cap. It's an environmental issue. I think there pretty easy to make work though, if you can get a hold of the valve.
Use your best judgement.

You don't see a plug on top of the intake runners behind the fuel rail?

 

there is the connector on the wiring harness but nothing on the intake runners or fuel rail to plug into.
