so my car has an idle issue. it idles high sometimes and low at other times. its also jerking real bad when getting on/off the throttle. I checked the cel and got a code 7. I tested the tps and its reading .5 idle and 5wot. so my tps seems to be working. I also replaced the map sensor. am I missing something here? should I still replace it? I'm stumped. TIA!

i would try and still replace the tps sensor and also are you plugging the sensors up right?? cause i've had people think the map sensor plug was the tps sensor plug and the tps plug the map plug...

I'm just totally stumped on this one. ill go ahead and try replacing the tps. I'm just confused as to why its would be malfunctioning if it seems like its properly calibrated.

 

my sensor was looking fine on my itr TB and it read .5 and to find out it was the problem, why? while i drive down the road the crap would stall and run fine and stall and run fine... so i just replaced the sensor and my car is running like a champ...

 

guess ill just go ahead and replace it. thanks for your continued help man!
