Hey everybody. I am messing around with an F20B crank, and it has a main journal of 56mm, which is way over the size of an H22a 50mm, so I'm wondering if any other engine has that size, because I'm thinking finding bearings will be tough...

It's a weird crank, the Rod bore is the same as a B16? for some reason...

 

Doing some searching, I think I found the ITR main journal to be 59mm? Is that on the crank or the block?

 

anyone with a b-series helms?

 

Actually I measured the bearing at 56mm....but that would make the actual journal 55mm or so...I think that's B-series right?

yeah thanks, aparently no one on honda-tech owns a B18 or b16 helms to help me out...

My prelude manual say 50mm for H22a....so the 55mm F20b is related to something else...

Yeah I found that

It's saying the crank bore is 59mm and journal is 55mm.....so that may be the ticket...

I relazed after that if I measured the bearing ID to be 56mm, the journal would be less...

 

i'm still looking, but i can't seem to find anything

 

my initial measurement must have been wrong....55mm..

All b-series must be this size....this would follow considering the rod bearings are b16 size...

 

it's kinda funny that the B series engines are really popular but i can't seem to find these specs on the net.
Are you sure the B series are 55 mm?
