Just thought I'd put this out there. The 5 letter (A - D) code for the mainshaft bore sizes aren't there on my block. It's supposed to be on teh flywheel side, closest to the rear of the engine, just next to an indentation in the block. But, it's nowhere to be found.

It's not really all that important that they're not there, but I just thought it was weird, especially since they're supposed to be stamped on there.

The crankshaft bore codes were probably all B's and C' given the (1) Black, (1) Green, and (3) Brown mainshaft bearings I had. I'll have to double-check those colors tho.

Regardless, my crank journals are all 3's and 4's, and I mic'd them out to 2.1644" to 2.1643" (#3 - which tends to be smaller and has a lower range of tolerances).

The mainshaft bore sizes were mic'd out to:
pulley-end
#1: 2.3233"
#2: 2.3182"
#3: 2.3265"
#4: 2.3231"
$5: 2.3211"

Rod journal diameters were mic'd out to:
pulley-end
#1: 1.7708" (C)
#2: 1.7709" (C)
#3: 1.7709" (D - supposed to be the small one)
#4: 1.7709" (C)

Main Bearing Colors
pulley-end
#1: Brown
#2: Black
#3: Black
#4: Brown
#5: Green



No Rod Bearing Color Codes visible on rod bearings.
