Default N2O Dry VS Wet?

Someone care to comment on this guy's idea about dry setup?

I'd always get a wet set up. Because all the fuel is metered with the nitrous and theres less chance of the stock fuel rail/injectors not being able to handle it. In my opinion you get dry if you can't afford it and dry set ups are half *** jobs. Nitrous is adding more oxygen to your intake dry setup just puts more oxygen in the intrake tract and relyes on the stock fuel maps to compensate for it. Dry = half *** job, Wet is the way to go.
I do not believe that you could actually dismiss Dry setup as a half-assed setup. It's not the most effective setup, but half-assed?

That is crap.

Dry is NOT half-assed!

Fact is a direct port or wet setup will probably make more power, and you'll be able to use a bigger shot, but that's not the argument.

Dry is an EASY wat to make 55-75 Hp WITHOUT blowing up your engine.

The ZEX kit acutally compensates for the lean mixture, by adding more fuel, correct?

I agree EpDarks, the Zex is a inexpensive system that works just fine... So is the Venom VCN-1000.. A wet system has the abilty to be safer as it does to make more power but i don't see anything wrong with these two systems.. Peace

Sorry guys. I care for my car and the engine. Thats why I am flaming the dry setup. A wet setup has a FAR less chance of harming the engine. Your telling me that you a going to rely on the stock fuel system and the O2 sensors to adjust the fuel mixture. How long do you think it takes to do that??? Too long. So now your going to spend a good bit of money on a dry control system when its not much more to do the wet setup.

I would love to see 75 shot on a GSR that is a true dry setup that is not more expensive than a 75 shot wet. Even if it was the same price, whats the point of buying the dry???

okay wet v.s dry who cares as long as it makes that hp its all good its just the fact of the matter of which one is cheaper but its a matter of do you want more or less
LOL : famous last words.

Well then, you should know that wet setup in some cases could bring down the fuel temperature too low. Way below its flash point and cause it not to burn. So what happens when there air+nitrous+no gas to burn? DETONATION!

i know people who have blown motors on both wet and dry nitrous systems so i dont think that one is safer than the other...i think it all depends on the driver using the nitrous system....im currently using a dry kit because i got it for real cheap off someone that didnt know anything about nitrous and i dont have any problems with it..the only think i see is that you get less power to the wheels with a 50 shot dry than a 50 shot wet thats why im about to switch to the wet system.....i think both systems are safe as long as you are smart bout it....dont go around emptying bottle after bottle or spraying more than your motor can handle and your it wont blow....
