the car is a b16/ef..and as soon as key is turned the fan comes on...and it runs nonstop...shouldnt it only come on once the motor has reached a certain temp.? if thats the case how would i wire it so that the fan only comes on above a certain temp??

yeah it is wired like that...i bought the car swapped and the previous owner did the wiring for it...which is a real hack job....but the question is will it running all the time make any difference?? and how can i redo the wiring so that it will only come on when it is suppossed to?

i have mine set to stay on the entire time.... ever since the key is in the on position... check to see if they simply unplugged the thermostat sensor clip, and just tripped it using a wire.... other wise chech the wires... you just have to re-connect it... no big deal if it is on the entire time... just means you will save your motor incase if the thermostat were to go bad, because the fan is on all the time. just have to change the fans every several years... but no worries.
