Cooling Fan Stopped Running

Cooling Fan Stopped Running
Iv been trying to get my CEL from flashing and finally did YAY! But now my cooling fan stopping running. At first it was running all the time when I turned the key. The fan isn't bad but I'm not getting power to it. I guess Ill start with the sensor that turns it on in the first place. That would be the one at the thermostat right? If so, if I was to unplug it and put a paper clip in it will it start running the fan if everything is hooked up correctly? It probably wont work since someone rigged it up to run all the time. Does anyone know of a good wiring schematic for the fan? Well hope to fix this soon and thanks to anyone that helps me

service manual will have schematic if you can get your hands on one. Normally shorting the switch plug will make it run constant. That would tell you if the sensor was bad. There is likely a problem with whatever wiring someone did to make it constant (a wire and electrical tape on the sensor plug would have been easier for them). Or maybe your fan burned out from running all the time.
Try shorting the plug and then try undoing whatever wiring was done along with figuring out why they felt the need to do that.

The fan still works. I plugged it up with another connector I had to the battery and it ran just fine. As for service manuals I was trying to find a factory one I can download but have no luck. Iv found some that are $50 plus but Im not paying that much. The Haynes manuals are a last resort since they suck so badly these days. Still wanted to know if the sensor at the thermostat was the one that started it and if I paper clipped it is it supposed to start? Ill try it in the morning since I don't have to work tomorrow.

Google dammit!
If your fan is rigged to run all the time you have other **** to fix. Get the car back to where it's supposed to be. Usually people do lazy **** like that when they don't want to replace the thermostat or some other faulty sensor.

Get a clue.
And OP. 117,000 Google search results using the keywords "93 del sol fan wiring diagram".

Took all of 10 seconds.

You eat some bad kibble today? Didn't have the caned tuna? Calm down no need to be so rude. I needed help with something and there is so much mumbo jumbo on the web I cant make heads or tails about so I thought I come here for some help. So chill out. Don't like my post ignore it and go somewhere else. Since you so called reported this Id like to say sorry admins for this ridiculous post but there is no needs for people being butts when someone has a question.

People need to stop being so lazy. What I just did you could have done for yourself. Mumbo jumbo? You needed a diagram. A picture. A Google image search would have found that with no text for you to have to read. Give me a break with the excuses. You didn't search. Try it sometime.

I understand the concept of search, which is how I found this post, but if people didn't ask questions this forum wouldn't need to exist, nor would there be threads to search for. Is there a thread limit or something? Calm down.

I do hate doing more research then the OP for them, but "Slacker" (lol) has a good point imo. Either way, if you cant figure it out even after the google link to the images I dont know how you plan on making sense of an electrical diagram, since its far more confusing than image names....
anyway the engine coolant temperature switch is the same one i was talking about in my first post, on the t-stat housing.
Follow this, I only read the first two posts but it will probably lead to you fixing your problem. It was the first result after searching "honda engine coolant temperature switch".
