msd ignition install question
Did you bother checking MSD's website to see if they had a .pdf manual for the 6A?
Did you bother searching here for it? If yes, did you see how a common trend was that if you're making less than 350whp, it really isn't a worthwhile mod? Did you also see the numerous threads pertaining to burning out stock ignition components when using the 6A?
Even if you got it for free, its not worth the headaches it causes unless you're making some power. I know a few people who try and daily drive with these things only to burn out ICM's and coils - and that gets pricey replacing those items.

as a matter of fact i have researched it and i decided not to do this but since i got it for free and i am giong to have more than 350hp so i might as well do it. i also searched for instructions on this site and came up empty handed. i did look at the instructions and it didnt mention if i should hook up the white wire or the purple and green one. it just showed me how to hook it up. as we speak my motor is getting a fully built head and built bottom. i just bought some 850cc injectors to put in and i have a custom turbo kit. i dont daily drive my car anyways.

Good research.
You don't use the purple/green wires because as the manual states, and as your research showed you, these wires are for a magnetic pickup or crank trigger. The white wire is the wire you use because you have an electronic ignition.
