Default ignition boxes?

is there anything you have to do special to anything if i got an ignition box? are they easy to put in? is there anything i should know about one or what to do to make it work correctly?

Not really, there are no internal mods or welding. Any wire cutting and splicing is covered in the directions of the ignition. I've had both an MSD and a Jacobs iCE Pak. The Jacobs is a whole bunch easier to install and didn't require any wire cutting, but you do have to run a wire through the firewall. The MSD required wire cutting and splicing making it a little harder to put in. All the wiring diagrams were in the instrutions. The Jacobs also has 3 parts and the MSD has 1 or 2 if you get the MSD coil. I have pics of how I mounted the MSD here:

Having had both I'd recommend the Jacobs for the novice and the MSD for someone has minimal experience. The MSD is about 160 and 35 for the coil and the Jacobs was 325, but has a coil included. Mike
