Default Motor With High Mileage

If you get a USDM motor with high mileage(lets say around 100k), what things would you replace besides the basic oil/water pump and timing belt?

Thanks!

Piston rings, headgasket, exhaust gasket, intake manifold gasket, rod bearings, etc.

never thought of 100k on a honda (acura) engine as being high miles. If youre planning on some heavy horsepower though I reckon I would listen to poison.

try some Z-max , i did on my lude and it works great(gift ), especially since you said it has a 100k miles on it. Try some fuel system cleaner, preferably techron concentrate, and use only chevron gasoline, all the other brands are just crap. Transmission service, new radiator coolant, new plugs, distributor cap , rotor cap, plug wires. you can do this all youself, but use only genuine honda parts, dont buy that autozone crap, just stick with OEM,they're the best. Peace.
