Ok, here's the deal, I was supposed to do a clutch change for this guy, well he brings me the new clutch (from Bap Geon) and it is supposed to be for his 94 GSR tranny going onto his 94 LS motor. Well he insisted on helping so I just aligned the pressure plate and clutch disk and tightened them up, well he torqed them down right then I put the tranny up on the motor well he tightened down the bolts and it wouldn't go into gear. I pulled the tranny again and turns out that the clutch disk is stuck on the mainshaft of the tranny (we had to undo the pressure plate bolts through the starter hole just to get the tranny off!!!) Well when examining the splines of the mainshaft and the clutch they are lined up but it is still stuck! What the heck caused this? I have talked to MANY friends and no one knows about how this could have happened they have never seen it before. I really want to get this car done and out of my way and this has been holding us up for about 2 weeks. PLEASE HELP ME if you can. Thanks.
