Default missfire getting worse

My cars been missing at idle for a while now and I haven't paid much attention to it but now it's really starting to do it pretty bad. For instance, when I crank it after it's sat all night, it's rev's up and misses and sounds like it's on the rev limiter or something for just a split second and then goes down and idles fine but still slightly misses. It's also starting to miss around 7k as well. So I decided to try and figure out the problem. I did a compression chest and it got 220psi across the board. The plugs are new NGK's and the plug wires are new NGK's. I also replaced the rotor button as well. Still misses...The only thing I can think of would be the ignitor or the coil. Which is more common to be bad with these symptoms?

both get tired and old after about 110,000 miles, but the coil is the bigger of the two problems, pull it out and check its winding resistance.

Thanks man. I'll do that. My #1 guess was that it would be the coil and my 2nd guess would be the ignitor.

Man I was out playing around tonight and that miss is realllly becoming noticable around 7k and 7.5k sometimes now. Does that sound like the coil or what? I need someone with some experience with this stuff.
