i need some more help...i was told it was my fuel pump...and then someone told me it could be my relay for the pump?...i took the cover off the fuel pump and listened for a click didnt hear it....and this guy also told me the relay is more likely to go then the pump...i need some help here and im really starting to hate hondas b/c of this stupid ****

 

Why dont you go buy a manual , make sure your getting 12volts to the relay and go from there. Why do you hate honda's, you gota be smarter than the car ya know.

 

When you first turn the key to "run", do you hear a hum while the Check Engine light is on? That would be the fuel pump.

If not, either the pump or main relay feeding power to it is faulty. Resoldering the main relay is as good as buying a new one in 95% of the cases of failure.

 

I have the same problem and i know for sure its the main fuel relay. What would need resoldering? just all the solder points inside it?

 

Yeah, you might as well hit them all while you're in there. They develope hairline fractures around the joints causing intermittent starting problems.

You would understand with my current financial situation also cant even afford gearbox oil, gotta buy a new gbox also grrr. Pulled my motor n box out last nite all the spider gears just fell apart when i removed the cv's
