Default fuel pump main relay

if the fuel pump relay doesnt work, will that cause other things not to work besides the fuel pump?

Default Re: fuel pump main relay

No, most Hondas have a main relay; placed in some hard to find spots high up under the dash usually. This relay controls ECU power, fuel pump relay and disables some other relays durring starting. If you are having multiple power loss issues, find this relay. I have changed several on my Accords when I started getting erratic fuel pump operation. Instead of changing the pump and finding the problem still exists, get one from a salvage yard (much cheaper than new) and swap it out. It is NOT a normal relay as it has multiple functions and any one will keep a car from starting.
