umm...never heard of this pvc thingee..and i have CR-Vtec..do i need it...can i tell from the top of my engine bay..? Ummm....?
Yes you need it. From my understanding of the PCV system, it allows the gas vapors to exit the crankcase that get built up from the pressure being produced in the crankcase. If you did not put it on there, then you dont have it.

Here is the Endyn Breather Kt. I am told it is fool proof. The reason I did not use it is because I am a DIYer, but it appears to be the simpliest way. If I was building someone eslse's car, I would have used it. Do searches for "pcv" in the recent and archived threads on this board...there should be a ton of info on this subject.

I know some people on this board are not big fans of the endyn kit

but to make things a little easyer. The block plugs that the endyn kit uses are stock Honda prelude. One of the early gens not sure of exact year.

early gens like 82?

or 88-91?

this would help heaps

thanks,

thanks rolow!!

i called my local parts guy yesterday, he was ultra-confused!

he said to jsut come in and point at the pictures (what he usually says, lol)

thanks again!

i was just going to tap a hole in one of the hex plugs and put a spout into it, this would have been pretty hard to do, as well as being hard to re-install!
