You need a -4 male to 3/8 npt female fitting or 1/8 npt male to 3/8 npt female adapter. The last one you can find at home depot and some auto parts store.

its not npt, its bspt which is british standard pipe thread.BSPT has 27 threads per inch and NPT has 28 threads per inch.So if you use an NPT you risk the chance of stripping the hole out or breaking it off in the block.I know this because i have done it, and today i found out the the honda blocks and heads all have BSPT threaded holes and i ordered the right fittings less then 1 hour ago.I ordered a 1/8" BSPT to -4 AN fitting for the block and a 3/8" BSPT to -4 AN for the head.
Holy **** he's right about the BSPT, I knew it felt a little too tight screwing in, but I tightened it anyway. Where do you get the BSPT fittings? Ive never even heard of them.
I have never once ever had any problems using NPT fittings on a honda motor. You don't need BNPT. It feels tight because its tapered pipe thread. Thats what its suppose to feel like. Just don't over tighten anything and you will never have a problem
