Default ls head on b20 block

ok right now i have a complete LS head, ive taken it apart and it appears to be in good shape. A friend of mine is in need of a new motor for his car and isnt wanting to spend a whole lot. I told him i will put the motor together for him and put it in his car and if he likes it, he will buy it. If not, we will pull it out and his shitty smokey oilburning sohc will go back in. But here is what i plan for the set up. Stock ls head, stock block, but which block? Will this head bolt right onto the b20 block with no probs? or should i just stick with the LS bottom end. Like i said we are trying to go the cheap route with this. Probably all OEM parts. Oh yeah we plan to use a b16 hydro tranny with this set up. We still need some parts too so let me know if you guys have any parts you might have that could help with this set up. As of now i have an LS head, b16 intake mani, and any parts we can use from his current motor, its a 93 si hatch. what you guys think. At this point im leaning at the b20 block/ls head combo. help us out here, and we plan to document it with pics as soon as the ball gets rolling. Help me out here guys.

are you sure? i thought i read somewhere that an LS head flows better than a b20 head. So you are saying that the LS and b20 heads are exactly the same?

But only the B18B nead is the same. The B18A head is inferior.

wow your going to need alot first off you will need a hydeo to cable convrsion kit for a 93 si is hydro you can get this at hasport. Next rear mount braket from 94 teg ecu form 94 teg distributor from 94 teg axles from 91-93 teg stock teg mounts will bolt up. Its not going to be as cheap as you think.
