Default B20 Block and the LS

I have a 98 LS. I have been considering LS/VTEC for some time now. A lot of people latley have been talking about the capabilites of the B20 block with the LS/VTEC setup. I was just wondering, if you were to get just the B20 block, and use the LS head, would you gain low end torque? Besides the possible gain in low end torque would there be any other gains in terms of WHP? Thanks, Jason.

b18b and b20 use the same head, so if you put a ls head on a b20, then u basically would still only have a B20

sell the LS block/head, pick up a b20 block with a b16 or b18c5 head.
