LS Distributor Cap order
I changed my wires, and thought I knew where to put the wires, but I guess not.
I've searched and found 2 possibilities.....(looking at the distributor)
3 4
1 2
or
4 2
3 1
I've tried both and just get backfires. Really loud ones too....lol
Should I unplug the battery and reset the ECU - WIll that help?
WTF?

Yup, thats how I originally put them on. On the first cranking, it cranked like 10+ times and didn't fire. When I let go of the key, it gave a HUGE backfire. SO I assumed I had them wrong.
This really sucks, cause I got a dyno run first thing in the morning.....

Figured it out. The distributo was in 180 degrees wrong. so my firing order was:
2 1
4 3
Pretty fucked eh? I didn't have time to re-re the distributor, so I just put the wires on like that, and it worked fine.
Made 300 WHP @ 15 PSI today too!
